A total of $26,000 has been allocated to support the ongoing development of Panchenai Village, enabling a wide range of impactful initiatives. These include afterschool programs, temporary teacher salaries, A/L student support, and school supplies for children. The funds also contribute to the Phase II installation of street lights, driving licenses for 16 youths, and cardiac screenings for kids. Livelihood support is enhanced through the construction of a farm building on 9 acres, promoting cultivation across two seasons. Additionally, essential services are being expanded with mobile medical clinics, a mobile post office, and irrigation projects co-financed by government and donor partners
A total of $5,000 has been allocated to conduct evening classes for one year, targeting Grade 8–11 students from financially disadvantaged families in Ayithiyamalai and Unnichchai, Batticaloa. This initiative aims to prevent school dropouts by offering consistent academic support and encouraging students to continue their education despite economic challenges.
