A fund of $30,200 has been allocated to the Periyakulam Village Development Organization to address key priorities identified through a needs assessment. This support will facilitate salaries for agricultural and goat farm staff, enhance educational opportunities through an after-school program, contribute to the construction of a community building in memory of Late Mr. Sreetharan Nadarajah, and provide essential furniture for the student learning space.
At Great Western Tamil Vidyalayam, Talawakelle, Anpuneri ran after-school classes covering Mathematics, Science, Tamil, English, and History. Five sessions of $1,000 each were delivered, fully funding the $5,000 program.
Under Panchenai Village Development, we provided accommodation and tuition for 12 A/L students, in four installments of $2,000 each, totaling $8,000.
Also at Panchenai, we funded after-school instruction for Grades 4–5 and Grades 9–11 with 12 sessions of $500 each, fully covering the $6,000 budget.
At Kannakipuram, Amparai, Anpuneri delivered ten sessions of after-school classes (Grades 9–11) at $500 each, fully funding the $5,000 initiative.
We supported local preschool and community play activities with ten sessions of $500 each, meeting the $5,000 target.
A $3,000 grant, distributed as six payments of $500, supplied ongoing upkeep for a community agriculture farm.
